Janis C. Gallego
Janis C. Gallego, an associate in Mesch Clark & Rothschild's Business, Employment, Construction and Litigation Sections.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, cum laude from the University of Arizona. The recipient of several scholarships and awards, she was a member or Golden Key National Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society, and was named the University of Arizona Hispanic Senior of the year.
In 2005, she received her JD from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law and was the recipient of the Dean's Achievement Award. While in law school, Janis served on the Student Bar Association, Law Women's Association, secretary of La Raza-Hispanic Bar Association, and president of Christian Legal Society.
Janis is committed to community service with a special focus on empowering Hispanics to pursue higher education. She serves on the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation and is a member of the Arizona Women's Lawyers' Association. She continues to serve on various committees at the University of Arizona including the Hispanic Advisory Council and Intercollegiate Athletics Committee.
