Patrick J. Lopez

Patrick J. Lopez, a native Tucsonan, received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona and his J.D. from the University of Arizona College of Law.

As a partner in the Firm’s Litigation Department, Patrick focuses on commercial litigation, construction litigation, medical malpractice defense, municipal law, landlord/tenant issues, matters before the Registrar of Contractors,  and other civil matters, including  personal injury and contracts.  Patrick  represents both plaintiffs and defendants in his litigation practice. He has tried cases in many forums, including the Arizona Superior Court in multiple counties, the United States Federal District Court, the American Arbitration Association, the Arizona Office of Administrative Hearings, and private arbitration.  Patrick is also authorized to practice in the Honorable Tribal Court of the Tohono O’Odham Nation.

Prior to joining Mesch, Clark & Rothschild, P.C., Patrick clerked for Judge Christopher C. Browning in the Pima County Superior Court .

He prides himself on being a problem solver who takes the time to master the facts and the issues in order to craft a strategy that leads to the best possible solution for the clients. 

In 2004, Patrick, a former tennis pro, co-founded Pride Tennis, an organization that helps Native American children develop life skills through the sport of tennis.  Patrick is active in the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.  He is also a member of the Primavera Foundation Multifamily Housing Advisory Committee, which assists the Foundation in the advancement of its mission to provide low-income housing for those in need in the Tucson Community.
